In lieu of a Bachelors or foreign equivalent degree in Urban Planning, Urban Land Economics, Architecture or a related field, and one year of experience, employer will accept three years of experience with real estate development andor construction projects in an administrative support role.br br The required experience must include Assisting and supporting portfolio projects throughout all stages of the Development life cycle; Coordinating and supporting negotiation of landzoning approvals with local approving authorities; Creating, monitoring, updates, tracks and interprets project data including proformas, contracts, schedules, budgets, and cashflows on an ongoing basis; Maintaining ongoing working knowledge of local land acquisition markets and comparable development project spreadsheets; Coordinating project deliverables and following up with stakeholders consultants, municipalities, etc.; Maintaining indepth knowledge of current market prices in relevant municipalities; and Participating in and supporting the sales and marketing initiatives throughout the development process.br br Requires up to 30 percent of the time traveling to various construction sites and government offices located in the city of Chicago, Illinois.br br Any suitable combination of education, training or experience is acceptable.
