Specific Skills Position requires a Bachelors degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering Management, or a closely related field of study, plus 5 years of experience in the job offered, or as a Senior Analyst Analytic Engineer, Senior Business Analyst, or similar position. Must have 5 years of experience with each of the following translating business needs into qualitative and quantitative deliverables; translating business needs into ad hoc analytical tasks or data pulls; working with SQL; developing and operationalizing endtoend processes working with data analytical tools such as SAS, Tableau, AWS tools and AWS cloud platforms; conducting customer analysis to identify trends, patterns and analyze customer profitability and loss ratios; evaluating line of business mix at an industry and regional level performing data validation; querying data from multiple databases to build robust and reusable data assets; and communicating complex technical concepts to a technical and nontechnical audience. Must also have 4 years of experience coding in R and Python for text mining with structured and nonstructured data and 3 years of experience with each of the following working in commercial insurance; and working with data flows in a corporate insurance environment. Option to work remotely is available.
