Specific Skills Position requires a Bachelors degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a closely related field of study, plus 5 years of experience in the job offered, or as an Application Development Associate Manager, or similar position. Must have at least 4 years of experience in designing and developing complex ETL solutions. Must also have at least 3 years of experience in the Insurance Industry. Additionally, specific experience must include analyzing data sources; creating a requirements traceability matrix; creating source to target mapping documentation and technical design documents; designing audit, balance, and control processes; creating and maintaining an operational data store with facts and dimensions on the MS SQL Server platform or equivalent DB platform; working with dynamic and advanced SQL queries, TSQL, SSIS, and SSRS; writing complex stored procedures, queries, views, user defined functions, cursors and common table expressions CTE using TSQL; creating tables, indexes, keys, constraints and triggers to facilitate efficient data manipulation, integration, and consistency; and conducting Performance Tuning and Query Optimization by Indexing, Partitioning, and Denormalization. Must be willing to occasionally travel within the U.S. Option to work remotely.
