Automotive Controls Software development using ASPICE development processbr 2. Developing testing controls algorithms using MatlabSimulink toolsbr 3. Using Vector communication tools, such as CANape and CANoe for development, testing and debuggingbr 4. Software development using AUTOSAR and MISRA standardsbr 5. Vehicle calibration and testing using Vector tools CANape and CANoe.br br Experience may be obtained concurrently.br br This is a key position with AAM, responsible in part for developing and testing control algorithms and diagnostics using MatlabSimulink tools and as per ASPICE development process using AUTOSAR, MISRA standards; working with electronics and software departments to ensure design of electronics and low level software can meet controls algorithm requirements; architecture design and development using Matlab and IBM DOORs Tools; conducting invehicle test maneuvers used for development activities and performance evaluation; and analyzing vehicle and bench data and modifying calibration parameters to achieve performance targets using Vector tools CANoe and CANape. Because this is a key and critical position, requiring extensive knowledge of, as well as experience with, applicable concepts and complex engineering issues, a Bachelors Degree in Electronic, Electrical, Computer, or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent foreign education, and 3 years of experience working in the Automotive industry is required, as the position involves implementing control system designs in a model based and C code environment using MatlabSimulink tools; and conducting engineering tests for calibration, tuning, and validation of controls.
