Specific Skills Requires Professional Engineer license. Applicants with any suitable combination of education, training or experience are considered acceptable. Suitable education, training or experience must include a bachelors degree in civil engineering, followed by min. 5 years of progressive experience in the position offered, or min. 5 years of progressive civil engineering experience e.g. as Inspector, Construction Inspector, Sr. Construction Inspector inspecting rail and supporting infrastructure improvements, including tracks, wayside signal systems and equipment, bridges, retaining walls and culverts, and supervising contractors to ensure compliance with contract plans and specifications, measuring work performed for payment, preparation of inspection reports, implementing change orders, and ensuring compliance with FRA, AREMA and OSHA safety regulations. Required experience must include utilization of Primavera P6, as well as Procore or similar construction document control software.
