Specific Skills Minimum qualifications Completion of all coursework in a doctoral program in Clinical or Counseling Psychology. Completion of an APA accredited internship program by the start of position. Completion of all doctoral degree requirements in counseling or clinical psychology within 6 months of start date required. Licensed as a psychologist in New York State or license eligible within 1 year of hire. Must be a generalist with significant interest and experience in working with international students. Preferred Twelve months of university counseling center experience are required. Experience working with international students. Fluency in Mandarin, Japanese, Korean, Middle Eastern or South Asian languages highly desirable. Significant experience working with individuals with persistent mental illness.
