Must possess a bachelors degree or its equivalent in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or a related field and at least 5 years of progressive SoftwareSystems Engineering experience in the development, verification and certification of Flight Deck Avionics Systems. In the alternative, at least a masters degree or its equivalent in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or a related field and at least 3 years of SoftwareSystems Engineering experience in the development, verification and certification of Flight Deck Avionics Systems would be acceptable. Must also possess the following at least 3 years of experience with development, verification and certification of Real time embedded Software; at least 3 years of experience with capturing requirements in a requirements management tool, such as DOORs or JAMA; at least 3 years of experience with following processes and standards related to the development of software such as DO178; at least 3 years of experience working closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams; and at least 2 years of experience leading or mentoring multiple engineers in a project environment.
