Specific Skills
Requires a Masters Degree or foreign equivalent in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or Chemical Engineering. Must have 36 months of experience as a Process Optimization Engineer or related occupation plus three 3 years of experience in developing Continuous Improvement strategy and process optimization. The three 3 years of experience must include Continuous Improvement strategy and process optimization Lean Six Sigma manufacturing projects or deployments; Using Continuous Improvement methodologies and DMAIC, Lean, Kaizen or Root Cause Analysis RCA; Applying structured and disciplined methodology to identify root cause, and causeeffect relationships using data; Using diagnostic tools Minitab, OSI PI, RtDuet or Power BI; plant operations management, project management, or process engineering; and leading change initiatives; Deployment of lean and Six sigma methodologies in continuous process industries; and Coaching and mentorship to engineers and supervisors to develop their lean six sigma skills in a complex site or multiple sites across a region. In the alternative, employer will accept a Bachelors Degree or foreign equivalent in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Chemical Engineering or a related field of study plus five 5 years of progressively responsible, postbaccalaureate experience in Continuous Improvement strategy and process optimization. The five 5 years of experience required must include Lean Six Sigma manufacturing projects or deployments; using Continuous Improvement methodologies and DMAIC, Lean, Kaizen or Root Cause Analysis RCA; applying structured and disciplined methodology to identify root cause, and causeeffect relationships using data; using diagnostic tools Minitab, OSI PI, RtDuet or Power BI; plant operations management, project management, or process engineering; and leading change initiatives.; Deployment of lean and Six sigma methodologies in continuous process industries; and Coaching and mentorship to engineers and supervisors to develop their lean six sigma skills in a complex site or multiple sites across a region.
