Experience may be gained posteducation, preeducation, or concurrent with education.br br Requires experience designing for more than one operating system such as macOS, Microsoft Windows, Android, and iOS. Strong understanding of visual design fundamentals such as color, form, composition and typography. Experience designing for web and mobile applications, using industry design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Illustrator. Ability to identify emerging visual design patterns across RD products including design system component usage and color palette, typography, iconography, illustration, and spacing consistency. Ability to create visual concept maps as part of the design process through detailed understanding and study of a given design requirement. Ability to research, create, and deliver compelling presentations on visual design direction to product teams using design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Illustrator. Familiarity with design research methods. Familiarity with basics of data visualization. Familiarity working in HTML5, CSS3, or CSS preprocessors SASS, LESS to translate design specifications into code.
