Specific Skills Masters degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Management Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a directly related field plus 2 years of experience in analytics applications, including supply chain and logistics, inventory and resource planning, manufacturing and retail, network and service operations, or marketing and sales. Experience may be gained concurrently and must include Two 2 years in each of the following Demonstrated ability in scoping, problem definition, or problem solving within very tight timeframes. Applying expertise in optimization techniques and languages including formulating and implementing optimization solvers linear, integer, and nonlinear. Reformulating complex problems into more tractable solutions using heuristic algorithms and advanced optimization modeling languages including Gurobi or CPLEX. Data engineering with programming languages such as SQL, R, or Python. Building operational forecasts for a wide range of business contexts, such as production planning, inventory, field scheduling, staffing, or procurement. Applying knowledge of IT architectures that will support advanced planning and forecasting goals by assisting clients identify where they can automate forecasting and planning, and how to best enable humanintheloop processes. One 1 year in each of the following Dynamic, discrete event, or stochastic simulation methods and languages. Applications of time series and forecasting techniques for short term, midterm and longterm demand and resource requirements. Utilizing enterprise forecasting, advanced planning, and integrated business planning systems such as SAP, Oracle, Logility, SAS, or JDA.
