Specific Skills This position requires a Masters degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field plus three 3 years of related experience. In the alternative, will accept a Bachelors degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field plus 5 years related progressive, postbaccalaureate experience. Must also have 12 months of experience which may have been gained concurrently with each of the following 1 using agile methodological automated implementation, maintenance and data backups of multi domain, region and datacenter Cassandra databases; 2 deploying dockerized bash, python and spark applications through Marathon, Chronos and Rundeck; 3 building data validation frameworks between different types databases with zero business loss during migrations; 4 leading software application design, lifecycle management, and total cost of ownership of platforms, software applications and infrastructure services; and 5 designing and implementing effective utilization and implementation solutions, to deliver effective compute resource management, using open source technologies, including Cassandra, Docker, Spark, Python, Mesos, Marathon, Chronos, Rundeck and Oracle Database. Will accept experience gained before, during or after Masters program.
