Specific Skills Fluency in the Japanese language is required to fulfill the duties of this position. The majority of the companys clients approximately 90 consist of Japanese companies in the financial, importexport, manufacturing and hospitality industries, who require our assistance in designing and maintaining their networks and systems. These companies often have bilingual systems and programs both in Japanese and English, as they serve both Japanese and English speaking customers in the U.S. When our Enterprise Resource Planning ERPIT Project Manager manages and develops ERPIT project plans for these Japanese corporate clients, including project scope and objectives, technical capacity upgrade, system assessment, software specifications, schedulebudget and staffing, to design and implement ERP software and integrated applications in costefficient and timely manner, she must be able to understand Japanese as the relevant data are both in Japanese and English. Our Enterprise Resource Planning ERPIT Project Manager also needs to liaise and communicate with our clients in Japanese in order to accurately identify their IT business management needs and advise on the best ERP software and enterprise software modules for their operations. In addition, the Enterprise Resource Planning ERPIT Project Manager must confer with project personnel within SYSCOM as well as with engineers within client companies to identify and resolve problems. In other words, an Enterprise Resource Planning ERPIT Project Manager who cannot communicate, read and write in fluent Japanese will not be able to effectively perform the duties described at Item # H11 above.
