Specific Skills 10 years of electrical trade experience is required, or, in the alternative, Bachelors in Electrical Engineering or related field plus 8 years of electrical trade experience. Journeyman certification in Power System Electrician studies required. Must have experience with software programs including Schweitzer, ABB, Siemens, and GE, used for the purpose of programming, commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting micro processing protective relays. Must have experience with the use of power system simulation software and test equipment including Omicron, Doble and the Manta, for the purpose of functionally verifying the functionality of a power system. Must have experience building LAN networks within the parameters of SCADA including troubleshooting and testing from the data concentrator outward. Must have previous experience as a Protection and Control Lead, and experience leading and managing project budgets and teams with operational excellence to ensure safe reliable projects and client satisfaction. Must have experience with decommissioning, installing, and commissioning new protection schemes and apparatus in highly sensitive critical infrastructure. Required to travel to project sites up to 100 of the time.
