Specific Skills Masters degree in Biological Science, Biotechnology or related field and 3 years of work experience in molecular and cellbased assay development and AAV gene therapy. Must have 3 years of experience in protein chemistry, molecular biology and AAV virology techniques e.g. molecular cloning, adherent and suspension mammalian cell culture, immunoblot, ELISPOT, gene transfection procedures, DNARNA isolation, qPCR, RTPCR, ELISA, SDSPAGE, Western Blot, high content imaging, infectivity assays, ADA, neutralization assays. Must have 3 years of experience designing and developing assay methods cellbased assays, immunoassays, and molecular assays; this includes rigorous data analysis, trouble shooting and data interpretation. Must have 3 years of experience with key scientific software programs such as JMP, QuantStudio, Flowjo, Prism GraphPad, MSD, SnapGene, ImageJ, SoftMaxPro, Gen5, and ImageLab. Must have 3 years of experience of GMP, GLP, GCP, USP, FDA, EMA regulations. In lieu of a Masters degree in Biological Science, Biotechnology or related field and 3 years of work experience, AGTC will accept a Ph.D. in Biological Science, Biotechnology or related field and 1 year of work experience as stated above. Up to 10 domestic travel required.
