Specific Skills Bachelors or higher degree in Economics, Business Administration, Management, Finance, Accounting, or related field willing to accept foreign education equivalent, including a 3year foreign degree plus four years of company valuations and financial modeling experience. Experience must include four years of performing business valuations and due diligence for mergers and acquisitions, common stock, tax purposes, and management planning purposes; reviewing and supporting valuations performed by external appraisers; performing financial modeling to optimize the flexibility of business modeling projections, and providing independent opinions on the reliability of models; evaluating and verifying clients financial models by evaluating the quality of model construction, formulas, and logical structure, and correcting errors; utilizing Excel and VBA to formulate complex financial models and performing private company valuations for tax planning and compliance purposes; performing research and valuations using Bloomberg, IBISWorld, Thomson Research, and Capital IQ databases to collect information on publicly traded companies, market parameters and comparable transactions; building and implementing an evaluation process to yield higher efficiency in evaluation projects; and interfacing with client financial managers and executives, accounting professionals, and external counsel throughout the valuation process.
