The position indicated at Section H.3. requires a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field, and three years of experience in embedded software or firmware engineering. Alternatively, requires a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field, and five years of experience in embedded software or firmware engineering. Experience must include using C, C, or Assembly for realtime applications, and testing code and hardware with and without external testing equipment such as oscilloscopes or power meters; working with bare metal and realtime operating systems; implementing digital signal processing DSP concepts in a microcontroller environment; documenting engineering requirements, documenting solutions, and testing new firmware designs; working with CortexM47 architectures and evaluating CPU versus hardware processing requirements and tradeoffs for costeffective designs; and using development tools such as GCC, GDB, Eclipse, and GNU, and software code management tools such as GIT and Mercurial; and using software development methods such as Agile, structured or object oriented.
