Specific Skills
Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, or related field, plus a minimum of 2 years of related experience. Related experience must include traffic safety and operations; traffic microsimulation modeling; traffic signal timing; design traffic forecasting; traffic signal design and signing and marking; use of computer aided design software including MicroStation, AutoCAD, Bluebeam Revu, VISSIM, SynchroSimtraffic, SIDRA and ArcGIS. Experience with the Microsoft Office suite is required. Experience must also include experience with roadway design manuals and regulations including GDOT Traffic Forecasting Manual, GDOT Signal Design Manual, and GDOT Signing and Marking Manual.
