Specific Skills Must have 8 years of experience with the following skills experience in the design engineering of power projects with advanced knowledge of piping systems and piping components such as valves, pipe supports, etc., with extensive handson experience in the following areas Interpreting PIDs and heat mass balance diagrams; good knowledge of interfaces with critical power plant equipment, as it relates to piping; ASME piping design codes and standards; Industry standard practices for various power plant piping systems; Planning and layout of piping and pipe supports for all power plant piping systems; Development of modular pipe rack designs; Insulation design for various hightemperature piping systems; Estimating detailed piping BoQs to support power plant bids.; 3D modeling tools such as PDMS OpenPlant; Pipe stress analysis tools such as AutoPipe; Interdisciplinary technical design reviews; 3D design reviews using NavisWorks. Approximately 20 travel required.br br As a federal contractor, Siemens Energy continues to monitor federal and state legal guidelines regarding the COVID19 vaccine mandate.
