The Masters degree and experience must contain a concentration in coursework and, research with an emphasis on a Seepage and slope stability principles for static and seismic conditions and their application to the analyses and construction of earthen embankment dams founded on various subsoil conditions with particular emphasis on stiff and soft clay behavior; consolidation; foundations; earth pressures, field exploration techniques; laboratory testing and data interpretation; and advanced soil behavior. b Performing geotechnical engineering laboratory testing including Atterberg Limits tests, grain size distribution, compaction tests, isotropic and anisotropic consolidated undrained triaxial test with pore water measurements, drained triaxial tests, direct shear and direct simple shear tests, hydraulic conductivity tests using rigid and flexible wall permeameters, incremental consolidation tests, and longterm creep tests.br c Performing saturated and unsaturated seepage and slope stability analyses using SLIDE dPerforming statistical analysis including hypothesis testing, descriptive statistics and outlier detection. ePerforming advanced data analysis and developing spreadsheets and predictive models using computer software such as Excel, R and PYTHON. fEvaluate site specific liquefaction and performing deterministic and probabilistic seismic hazard analysis for projects. gFormulating research hypotheses regarding industryrelated geotechnical engineering topics. hPreparing power point presentations and summarizing progress results for supervisors.br iAnalyzing laboratory testing results, generating relevant trend charts, and presenting the research outcome in a comprehensive report. Experience can be pre or post degree.br br PROOF OF PASSAGE OF PE CIVIL GEOTECHNICAL EXAM. Must have proof of passing the PE Civil Geotechnical exam.br br EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT MET. Employer acknowledges that the Beneficiary meets its education experience requirements as follows Beneficiary meets the education requirement by having a US Masters degree in Civil Engineering from Virginia Tech received 12152016 with a majorconcentration in Geotechnical Engineering and completion of 30 credits of coursework in Geotechnical Engineering topics as required.br Employer confirms that Beneficiary also meets the experience requirement by having 3 months experience as a Graduate Research Assistantship the Related Occupation where he was responsible for performing job duties a, b, c, f, g h and i in the Related Occupation above. This experience was gained at the Masters level at Virginia Tech College of Engineering part time as a Graduate Research Assistantship first from 12252014 to 06092015 which is the equivalent to 2 months 23 days of full time work and then from 06252015 to 08092015 which is the equivalent to 23 days of full time work for a total of 3 months 15 days of experience. Beneficiarys experience also includes researchcoursework at the Masters level at WorldQuant University, with an emphasis on duties d and e in the Related Occupation, above, to complete the experience requirement with respect to duties d and e above. Employer confirms that this experience satisfies employers experience requirement.br br Beneficiary also has provided proof of passing the PE Civil Geotechnical exam on 10222020. Employer confirms that Beneficiary has satisfied the Exam passage requirement.
