Specific skillsother requirements One year of experience must include analyzing existing conditions including risk and environmental sensitivity as well as socioeconomic factors to understand the constraints and opportunities of the site by using Arch GIS Geographic Information System, and CoMap Survey data analysis tools; integrating research, data analysis, and precedents to establish project concept, design principles and framework strategy; creating straightforward drawings by hand or computer aided diagrams to explain ideas and facilitating effective conversations with clients; studying various iterations of urban structure and form, open space, connectivity and infrastructure through plans, sections, perspectives and axons created by Auto CAD, Rhino, Grasshopper, Vray, and Sketchup; preparing different scenarios and phasing strategies through critical thinking and evaluation processes to finalize suitable design strategies based on client need; developing visual realization of ideas by leveraging design methodologies, modeling concepts, illustrations and documentation through Adobe suites Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign; and providing recommendations and guidelines in urban forms, implementation process and regional scale big ideas to frame a comprehensive strategy for the project. Licensure requires LEED Certification, processing to achieve Architecture License.
