Specific Skills The qualified candidate must have at least a Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry and Biotechnology or closely related field. The qualified candidate must have at least 2 years 24 months of experience in a research laboratory position or closely related occupation in a BSL2 laboratory environment. The qualified candidate must have at least 2 years 24 months of experience with all the following a preparation, extracting and sequencing of RNA, DNA and protein from invitro, exvivo and invivo samples; b ensuring the collectiontransfer of patient samples follows study protocol and guidelines; c writing and submitting progress reports, new lab protocolsSOPs and checklists; d working with IACUC, IRB, and BioSafety protocols; e interpreting and analyzing results and data from research projects; f preparing samples for nextgeneration sequencing such as whole exome sequencing, RNA sequencing, and Copy number variation; g general lab maintenance and inventory management, and; h working with multiparameter flow cytometry. All experience may be gained concurrently. Employer will accept candidates with any suitable combination of education and experience as described in H4 to H10, above.
