Specific Skills A Masters degree or the foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering or Power Systems Engineering plus 2 years of experience in an electrical or power systems engineering occupation related work experience. The required experience must have included 2 years of advanced experience on developing custom user written models in PSSE for various electrical equipment using FORTRAN; 2 years of advanced experience on developing custom models in PSCAD for various electrical equipment to perform simulation studies; 2 years of benchmarking renewable model performance in RMS PSSE or PSLF vs EMT software PSCAD; 2 Years in parameterizing and tuning conventional and renewable models to test data and ensure compliance to grid codes; 2 Years in performing feasibility and system impact studies steady state and dynamics for several ISOs in the US per NERC TPL 0014 standards; 2 Years in electrical transmissiondistribution systems, load flow analysis, dynamic studies, reactive deficiency study, transient stability analysis, short circuit, and voltage analysis; 2 Years in performing shortcircuit studies in ASPEN for SCR screening, analyzing impacts of inverterbased resources for different fault current levels and associated breaker duties; 2 Years in managing projects for the entire lifecycle to meet clients needs and requirements; and 1 year in providing response to request for proposals by providing scope of work and time estimates for new projects and help win business. Any and all experience may be gained concurrently.br br Employer will accept a Masters degree or the foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering or Power Systems Engineering plus 2 years of experience or, in the alternate, a Bachelors degree plus 4 years of experience in an electrical or power systems engineering occupation related work experience.
