Specific Skills Requires a bachelors or foreign equivalent degree in electrical engineering, electronic engineering, computer engineering, mechanical engineering or a related field and 8 years of experience in the position offered or 8 years of experience providing engineering support for electronic design in new product introduction, and manufacturing processes. Requires 5 years of experience applying and developing software using industry standard and nonstandard Serial Communication protocols. Also requires 3 years of experience performing systems engineering for electronic controls including analog and digital circuit design, prototyping, qualifying, and commercialization planning; performing engineering tests and working with data management systems for aerospace related industry including applying test protocols; utilizing product and component level FMEAs; interpreting and programming in CC and LabVIEW and developing software code concepts and rapid prototyping; and applying thermodynamic concepts. Experience may be, but need not be, acquired concurrently. Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training or experience.
