Experience must include eighteen months of requesting and analyzing documentation to perform information security risk assessments and conducting interviews to collect and review relevant materials necessary for risk assessments; conducting and formulating appropriate risk scoring, as it relates to threat, vulnerability, likelihood, impact, security controls, and countermeasure; performing follow up activities related to risk exceptions, risk acceptance, corrective action plans, and additional mitigation activities; communicating risk treatment methodology, risk avoidance, risk acceptance, risk transference and risk mitigation to appropriate groups; providing recommendations on risk mitigation and developing and reviewing security compliance documentation, including a system security plan SSP to document the security controls; developing information security and risk management strategy development for state and local government clients; developing information security policies mapped to regulatory standards, including National Institute of Standards and Technology NIST 80053, Internal Revenue Service IRS 1075, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, and Minimum Acceptable Risk Standards for Exchanges CMS MARSE, to ensure compliance with the applicable security compliance requirements; conducting privacy impact assessments and developing privacy frameworks and privacy policies mapped to regulatory standards, including NIST 80053, IRS 1075, CMS MARSE, Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act HIPAA and other applicable privacy compliance requirements; developing insider threat mitigation programs for state and local government clients to ensure mitigation of insider threat events; and identifying and utilizing the potential risk indicator framework to develop executive level dashboards to demonstrate potential IT risk within the organization and support executivelevel stakeholder decision making. Position requires approximately 30 travel.
