Position also requires the following Computer science fundamentals and algorithms; coding skills in R, Perl, or Python, and BASH; data mining; information retrieval, and text mining; combining analytic methods with data visualizations, genomics, molecular biology; and Next Generation Sequencing NGS; analysis toolkits such as GATK, DRAGEN, standard data formats common in the genetic analysis industry, including FASTQ, FASTA, BCL, VCF, and BAM; and publications in NGS data.
