Experience must include two years of analyzing trial balance, and creating tax workpapers and journal entries to prepare federal, state, and local tax returns; preparing federal and statelocal income tax returns for partnerships and corporations, including Forms 1065, 1120, and 8865; reviewing consolidated and separate entity, federal and multistate tax returns for partnerships, corporations, and REITs; responding to tax inquiries and Information Document Requests IDRs from the IRS and other tax authorities by reviewing the relevant tax code sections, IRS rulings, and similar state tax rulings; analyzing partnership agreements with respect to real estate funds to compute complex tax calculations regarding partnership allocations; utilizing tax research resources, including CCH, BNA, RIA Checkpoint, and LexisNexis, to complete taxable income calculations for partnerships, and preparing corporate and partnership tax returns using tax software, including SuperForms and GoSystem; completing taxable income calculations for publicly traded and private companies, including Ccorporations and partnerships, and completing tax allocation for US investors foreign investments, including FTC and Section 163j; interacting directly with senior management of the tax team and tax clients to discuss tax issue resolution and continuity; supervising engagements, including full life cycle of engagements, staffing, budgeting, and closing out projects; and supervising and reviewing the work of tax teams both on site and overseas.
