Experience or education must includebr 1. Working with power systems with indepth knowledge of distribution grid, including in the area of grid integration and management of renewables and energy storage;br 2. Operating computerassisted engineering or design software or equipment to perform engineering tasks related to Distributed Energy Resources DER integration, such as PV, energy storage, electric vehicles, and control of DER;br 3. Developing modular codes for research questions related to DER Management Systems DERMS, DER integration, DER planning, and grid services in software languages, such as Python and Matlab;br 4. Controls and optimization with focus on development of control strategies for DERMS, DER forecasting, and DER planning;br 5. Working with power simulation software, such as OpenDSS, CYME and Synergi; andbr 6. Developing and integrating state of the art machine learning technologies with focus on providing forecasting and control solution for optimal management of DER.br Domestic travel is required.
