This must include 6 months of industry experience in each of the following Cell culture and aseptic technique including EXPI293, HEK293, HUH, CHO, HELA, and JURKAT; Lipid based transfection of mammalian cells for production of viral particles; Quantification of physical viral particles by p24 protein ELISA; Dilution of viral particles on target cells for quantification of functional titer; Quantification of viral payload expression via flow cytometry or western blot; Molecular biology techniques including viral vector plasmid design, highthroughput vector library testing, DNA extraction, and restriction enzyme digestion; and Concentration of viral particles by density gradient ultracentrifugation. Experience may be gained concurrently.
