Specific Skills:Fluency in the Japanese language is required to fulfill the duties of this position. EOS provides a full range of accounting services including, but not limited to, audit, accounting, tax preparation, and consultation. The firm was established through the transfer of a segment of the Japanese business practice of Ernst Young LLP. Our clients range from U.S. subsidiaries or affiliates of major Japanese multinational corporations to smaller emerging growth companies entering the U.S. market for the first time. Since most of our clients are Japanese corporate clients who have minimal knowledge of the English language, the majority of our services approximately 70 are provided in Japanese. As a consequence, our Audit Accountant Managers must also be able to provide accountingauditattest services and advice to our Japanese clients using Japanese accounting terminology. In addition, she must oversee multiple, complex attestation projects and audit research, including review of financial statements and attest documents prepared by junior audit accountants in both Japanese and English. Because our Audit Accountant Manager will use Japanese about 70 of the time, it would be extremely difficult for an Audit Accountant Manager to fulfill the duties of this position without complete fluency in written and spoken Japanese. Therefore, fluency in Japanese is an absolute business necessity for the Audit Accountant Manager position in question.br br Further, about 50 out of the office travel to various client sites in Michigan, Illinois, Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, North Carolina and Texas is required.br br Additionally, as an Audit Accountant Manager in our Novi, MI Office holds himherself out to the public as a licensed Certified Public Accountant CPA, a CPA license is required for this position.
