Two 2 years experience in SQL.br br Explanation on Language Requirement Gannett expects the Investigative Reporter Immigration and Social Services to have knowledge in a foreign language, Spanish. Additionally, the Investigative Reporter is expected to develop a relationship with the immigrant community that principally communicates in Spanish. Without this skill, they would be unable to maintain sources or conduct the indepth interviews required to cover breaking news stories and assignments. The Investigative Report is also expected to translate to their stories to be posted as Spanishonly content. As such, Gannetts requirement for Spanish fluency arises from the expectations of the role and the necessity of the business.
